- I have a background in Fine Arts and Art Therapy and have been a practicing artist for over ten years. My work includes portraits, landscapes, murals and abstract paintings in oil, acrylic, or ink. My current series entitled “Kindred Spirits” was inspired by the idea of soul mates and life after death. Someone who shares similar thoughts, feelings, who is close in temperament and nature to yourself, to whom you have a rare spiritual link that is very special and you can't quite explain. Twin souls are thought to be the ultimate soulmate, the one and only other half of ones soul, for which souls are driven to find and join. Multiple layering of acrylic ink on heavy weight paper was used to create shapes and images. Additional layers of ink were painted over the drawings to complete the images.
